Our Vancouver studio is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to join our high-performing and tight-knit People team. Reporting to the Director of People, the Workforce Planning Specialist will oversee the management of headcount resources to support the efficient and effective execution of Kabam’s strategy. This multifaceted role will draw on your skills in data management, project management, and stakeholder communications. This is a great opportunity for someone who is both process-driven and a big-picture thinker to take on a role with a high level of ownership and make a significant impact.
**In this role, you can expect to**:
- Partner with leaders across various teams to plan short-term and long-term staffing needs and resource allocation, facilitating meetings to prioritize hiring across the organization.
- Own and maintain detailed data records, enabling company leaders to make data-driven staffing management decisions.
- Work closely with the finance team to support annual financial planning with regard to headcount.
- Facilitate new requisition requests and maintain related data.
- Support recruitment efforts through prioritization and management of requisition pipeline
- Support internal mobility and project staffing by facilitating and tracking staff transfers
- Monitor and examine processes, implementing improvements where necessary
- Ad hoc data requests or project work relating to headcount, staffing, or resource management as required
**To be successful in this role, your background includes**:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or similar role with demonstrably transferrable skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Confident communication skills and previous experience working directly with company leaders
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to present data in a digestible format for various stakeholders
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
**To take it up a notch, you may also have**:
- Previous experience in a workforce planning role
- Experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry
- Experience managing projects and/or operations in a large organization of at least 500 people
