**OBJECTIF GÉNÉRAL**
Responsable de manutentionner la marchandise sur le quai, d’effectuer les entrées et les sorties dans les remorques. En tant que manutentionnaire de fret, la flexibilité concernant les quarts de travail sera nécessaire.

**RESPONSABILITÉS ET FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES**
1. Manutentionner la marchandise en se servant de l’équipement de manutention approprié, soit mécanique ou manuel, incluant mais sans être limité au chariot-élévateur, transpalette ou diable.
2. Suivre les lois et règlements applicables ainsi que les procédures et politiques de la compagnie.
3. S’assurer que la documentation de la marchandise soit conforme à la description, incluant mais sans être limité au poids et aux matières dangereuses, et ce en se servant de systèmes électroniques et manuels.
4. S’assurer que la marchandise soit sécurisée à l’intérieur des remorques en se servant des outils appropriés incluant, mais sans se limiter aux palettes, courroies et attaches.
5. Récupérer et réparer la marchandise endommagée, lorsque nécessaire.
6. Vérifier et compléter la documentation et les rapports tel que requis.
7. Aider les clients avec la documentation de la marchandise, si requis.
8. Toute autre tâche telle que demandé.

**COMPÉTENCES DE BASE**
- Avoir complété son secondaire 2/ équivalence reconnue.
- Expérience en conduite de chariot élévateur exigée.
- Certificat de conducteur de chariot élévateur valide un atout.
- Capacité à soulever/transporter du fret manuel de divers poids plusieurs fois par semaine, à soulever des ponts de chargement d’environ 100 livres chacun, ainsi que d’ouvrir des portes de remorque qui nécessitent une force de levage d’environ 75 livres, plusieurs fois par jour.
- Doit pouvoir se pencher, se tourner, s’accroupir, pousser/tirer du fret pendant la durée de son quart.

**AUTRES QUALIFICATIONS**
- Préférablement posséder de l’expérience de manutentionnaire sur un quai.
- Pouvoir compter et faire des mathématiques de base avec ou sans une calculatrice.
- Pouvoir communiquer verbalement et par écrit.
- Être capable de suivre des instructions et compléter un apprentissage.
- Pouvoir travailler seul ou en équipe.
- Environnement du quai : exposition à des conditions météorologiques variées, gaz, fumées, poussières, bruit.
