LyricFind, the premium leader in lyric licensing and data solutions, is expanding its sales team We are looking for a Sales Development & Operations Analyst who will play a critical role in owning sales development, optimizing sales processes, and working closely with the SVP of Sales.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly process-driven, and enjoys balancing proactive outreach, operational efficiency, and executive support.
Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this position will work closely with our existing sales operations team and will be based out of our Toronto office.
**About the Role**:
This is a multi-functional position with three core areas of responsibility:
1. Sales Development (40%)
- Own the entire outbound sales development process, from prospecting to initial engagement.
- Research and identify high-potential leads and target accounts.
- Nurture inbound leads, ensuring they are properly followed up with and moved through the pipeline.
- Build and maintain a lead tracking system in HubSpot, ensuring proper segmentation and follow-up.
- Develop personalized outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation efforts.
2. Sales Operations (40%)
- Work closely with the sales operations team to improve and streamline sales processes.
- Support the SVP of Sales and sales team in managing pipeline health and sales forecasting.
- Optimize HubSpot CRM workflows, reporting, and automation to improve efficiency.
- Develop data-driven insights to help refine sales strategies.
- Assist with sales enablement materials and documentation.
- Track and report on key sales KPIs, ensuring visibility across the team.
3. Organization & Follow-Up Support (20%)
- Ensure leads, follow-ups, and CRM tasks are properly actioned.
- Track action items from meetings and ensure they don’t fall through the cracks.
- Prioritize and structure daily tasks to maximize focus and minimize distractions.
- Help manage CRM hygiene, ensuring all notes, follow-ups, and tasks are properly recorded and completed.
- Assist with scheduling important calls and conference meetings and follow-ups.
**A little about you**:
- A minimum of two years of experience in sales development, sales operations, or a similar role.
- Process-driven, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar sales tools.
- Not afraid of cold outreach—you thrive on finding creative ways to engage prospects.
- Strong analytical mindset—able to turn data into insights.
- A fast learner who enjoys optimizing workflows and improving efficiency.
- Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects.
- Able to keep a busy sales executive on track and ahead of schedule.
**Bonus points for**:
- Experience in SaaS, music tech, or entertainment data sales.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Apollo, SalesLoft, or Outreach.io.
- Previous experience in both sales development and sales operations.
- A passion for efficiency, organization, and making things run smoothly.
