Plumbers Helper/Drain Cleaning Specialist - Mr. Rooter Plumbing

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Pay: $18-$30 an hour (based on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and take pride in delivering excellent service—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
- Support technicians by preparing tools and materials on job sites
- Assist with clean-up, digging, and basic manual labor for trenching or exposing lines
- Transport tools and supplies to and from job sites
- Provide general labor support including lifting, moving, and basic assembly of plumbing components
- Learn and observe proper techniques with the goal of growing into a licensed technician Perform drain cleaning using augers, hydro jetters, and camera inspection tools
- Diagnose drain and sewer line issues in residential and commercial settings
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Maintain service records accurately and consistently
- Keep vehicle and equipment clean and well-organized
- Assist with shop and vehicle maintenance as needed
- Work closely with the install and service team
- Follow all safety protocols and Mr. Rooter standards

**Qualifications**:

- Clear criminal record (background check required)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Mechanically inclined and able to lift 50+ lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Drain cleaning experience is a plus—but we will train the right person
