We are looking for Security Guards to work at any of our local sites all over the GTA.

**Requirements**

- **valid security license**

- **6 + months experience in the security industry**

- **drivers licence**

- **must have a vehicle**

- **must have first aid +cpr level c**

- **2 + years experience in a customer service role**

- **must have whmis certificate**

- **working at heights**

- **Completion of High School OSSD**

  • **Strong verbal and written communication skills**

**Other Qualifications**

  • _**Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather types**_.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Be able, both physically and mentally, to fulfill the duties and requirements of the assigned work
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • _**Must be reliable and punctual**_
  • _**Must present a professional demeanor**_

**Job Duties**

  • Deterring and detecting crime
  • Observe and report criminal activity
  • Familiarty with computer systems
  • Enforcing laws and regulations related to trespassing
  • Guarding high-traffic areas and monitoring all visitors
  • checking the identification or passes of visitors or issuing them passes
  • Create accurate and detailed security logs and reports
  • Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
  • Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
  • Protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Safeguard confidential information

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.50 per hour

Schedule

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate

  • Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification

  • Driving License + Vehicle (required)
  • Security Guard License (required)
