**Key Accountabilities**:
80% Operational Effectiveness
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of team.
- Monitor departmental performance against goals and industry KPIs to ensure progress and successful results.
- Oversee and manage department operations and scheduling.
- Staff recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring
- Manage department morale
- Demonstrate a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, customers, and other parties.
- Provide leadership for problem resolution.
- Report departmental stats/information and make recommendations to senior management.
20% Sales and Service
- Handle every transaction in an informed, professional and efficient manner.
- Identify customer needs and provide related advice that meet objectives.
- Complete customer requests following established processes accurately, effectively and in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of automotive industry practices and trends, as well as marketing promotions and programs; integrating them into communications to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications**
**Knowledge**:
- Must have knowledge of automotive industry, products, sales and services, customer communications regulations and inter-departmental relationships.
- Good knowledge of call centre technology, processes and metrics
- Knowledge of competitive market place and trends in product offerings
- Hands-on team leadership experience is a must
- Proven superior customer service strategies
**Skills**:
- Strong business, social, and cultural acumen
- Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must
- Practical and out-of-the box problem solving abilities
