**Overview**:
As **Project Manager for the Architectural Hardware Group**, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of awarded contracts — from initial planning through to final delivery. You’ll oversee complex hardware installation projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of **quality, compliance, and on-time delivery** within budget.

**What You’ll Do**:

- ** Project Leadership**: Manage projects from start to finish, from preparing competitive bids and winning contracts to overseeing every detail until completion.
- ** Technical Expertise**: Use your knowledge of commercial construction, architectural hardware, steel doors, and frames to respond to customer inquiries and prepare detailed project estimates.
- ** Budget Management**: Evaluate project costs, including materials, labor, and geographic factors, to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. You’ll also work with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve pricing issues and maintain project budgets.
- ** Strategic Planning**: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. You’ll also identify potential risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
- ** Blueprint Analysis**: Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications for architectural hardware projects, ensuring full compliance with all building codes and safety standards.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as a central point of contact for team members, clients, and site superintendents. You’ll coordinate, expedite, and distribute critical project information and updates, with a strong focus on scheduling and ensuring a smooth workflow.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- ** Experience**: Training or education in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
- ** Project Management**: 5+ years of project management experience in the architectural hardware or commercial construction industry is required.
- ** Industry Knowledge**: Experience in architectural hardware products, building codes, and installation techniques. Demonstrated knowledge of life safety systems, fire codes, access control systems, doors, frames, and custom architectural fittings is essential.
- ** Technical Skills**: Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- ** Certifications (Assets)**: AHC, CDC, EHC, or AOC DHI Designations are considered a strong asset. Experience in Electronic Access Control, CCTV, and/or Intrusion is also an asset.
- ** Essential Skills**: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
