**What it's like to be an Underwriting Portfolio Lead at Northbridge Financial**:
Our Underwriting Portfolio Lead manages and oversees the enhancement and expansion of the automation of Commercial Underwriting rules within Small Business across all Northbridge Financial brands. They work in conjunction with the Lead Portfolio Analyst to oversee our current Underwriting automation and make recommendations for enhancements based on their findings. They routinely work with both Underwriting and Technical Leads in order to ensure our practices are working as optimally as possible.
They are Digital Underwriting experts, and utilize this experience to review portfolios, conduct audits, review automation rules, and ensure that underwriting intent is being maintained. They think outside the box; consistently improving, transforming, and expanding our automation practices while keeping profitability top of mind.

**If you are great at**:
- Digital Underwriting; understanding Underwriting platforms and complex automation practices
- Relationship-building, negotiation, and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Being a self-starter with a strong desire to influence and make positive changes
**And you have**:
- 10+ years of Property + Casualty experience
- Proficiency in operational procedures, workflow, and processing functions
- Working knowledge of other key functional areas (Claims, Risk Management, IT)
- Team-first mentality, while keeping profitability top of mind
