**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:
The Accounting Associate is responsible for inventory administration, accounts payable, Accounting Administrator, duties, miscellaneous filing, and special projects assigned by supervisor.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Inventory Administration
- Accounts Payables
- Accounting Administrator

**SKILLS and QUALITIES**

**EXPERIENCE**
**Required**:

- Experience in Inventory management and Accounts payable, preferable in manufacturing industry
- Oracle or other ERP system knowledge
- Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail is needed to be successful in this position.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of fellow employees as well as outside contacts at Silgan suppliers.

**EDUCATION**:
**Required**:High School Diploma

**Preferred**: Some college.
