**Role Description**

In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of adolescent mothers and their children living at Regina's Place - Youth Services. Services to clients include assessment, crisis prevention and intervention, supportive counseling, education, advocacy, social/recreational programming, life skills teaching ie. cooking and linkages with other community services.

**Qualifications**
- Primary case management and community development skills acquired through a post-secondary education in social services such as Child and Youth Worker or Social Service Worker
- Experience working with adolescent mothers and children, knowledge of the Child and Family Service Act Proficiency
- The ability to complete housekeeping/cleaning duties in a residential setting is required
- A valid driver's license is required
- Have knowledgeable of and experience working with transitional age, street-involved and homeless youth
- A proven ability to work independently, taking initiative and thinking creatively are required
- Fluency in French and/or another language(s) is also an asset
- CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
- Good judgement, problem-solving and assessment skills
