- Kenvue is recruiting for a 12-month contract-to-hire**PROCESSING OPERATOR 1 - 12 MONTHS**

This will be the afternoon shift (3 pm-11pm) position.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is based in Guelph, Canada.

**What will you do?**:
Under mínimal direction, the Processing Operator I perform all responsibilities necessary associated with the manufacturing of bulk pharmaceutical products and the accurate documentation of these activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. The core manufacturing functions include Weigh & Dispense, Granulation, Compression, Finishing (Coating & Printing) and Liquids.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Successfully execute all manufacturing steps associated with cleaning/sanitation, set-up and manufacturing operations associated with the work center the operator has been assigned to.
- Processes raw materials according to the validated process identified on the batch record, cleaning record, and SOPs, and follows all steps/instructions.
- Monitor and record all processing parameters and maintain all necessary processing and cleaning/sanitation documentation
- Performs appropriate SAP/MES transactions in accordance with the SOP.
- Accurate and timely recording and tagging of case counts, line events, downtime, and product changes in the Plant Cockpit system
- Has a sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
- Able to troubleshoot SAP discrepancies and make adjustments accordingly
- Attend GMP training on the schedule designated for my role and as appropriate for the role.
- Adhere to strict compliance with procedures applicable to the role.
- Exercise the highest level of integrity in the tasks performed
- Functions in compliance with all GMP’s, safety requirements and all applicable standard operating procedures
- Engages in team and department meetings
- Daily shift communications and communications with Supervisor
- Performs other related or assigned duties as required in all assigned areas
- Completion of employee orientation

Qualifications

**What we are looking for**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- 1-2 years of Processing Operator experience in a regulated environment
- Understanding of GMP Compliance is required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and SAP is required.
- Ability to collaborate and work efficiently in a team environment with limited supervision
- Ability to read, write, and understand Basic English and read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills required

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of SAP systems is an asset
- Experience working in solid dose manufacturing in an OTC or Pharmaceutical facility is an asset.
