**Job Overview**:
**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing plant to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely
- Providing leadership and direction to ensure quality, successful delivery of fabricated and machined parts/components manufactured.
- Supervising and scheduling of manufacturing operations and managing quality control output of product.
- Managing the internal training of production staff, apprentices, supervising the onboarding of new hires.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- _College Diploma in Machining or Tool & Die or equivalent experience._
- _Licensing as Machinist, etc. is required_
- _3-5 years supervisory capacity_
- _Knowledge of OHSA EHS legislation and regulations._
- _Commitment to quality product and excelled customer service._
- _Ability to communicate strategic plans into practical actions for production floor._
- _Demonstrated coaching abilities to act as lead and provide direction/support in ambiguous situations and provide guidance and direction as required._
- _Ability to monitor other employees to ensure safe and quality work._
- _Knowledge of safe operation of machines and other tools within production facility._
- _Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods._
- _Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics._
- _Good communication skills to work with multi-dimensional team._
