Owner Operator Truck Driver

**Job Overview**
As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation and logistics industry by managing your own vehicle while delivering goods efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to handle various types of freight. You will be responsible for maintaining your vehicle and ensuring timely deliveries, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
**Duties**
- Operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
**Skills**
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with a strong understanding of commercial driving principles.
- Experience in operating forklifts for loading and unloading freight.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques for maintaining vehicle functionality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle various types of freight safely and efficiently.
