**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Participate in daily kitchen prep work, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly
**Skills**
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes and serving techniques
- Attention to detail in presentation and quality of dishes
