Are you a skilled Structural Steel Installer looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to join our team at Monarch Steel as Structural Steel Installers. As a Structural Steel Installer, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting steel structures, playing a vital role in the successful completion of our construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Perform layout and positioning of steel components, ensuring accurate alignment and adherence to project requirements.
- Install structural steel members, including columns, beams, braces, and trusses, using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Fabricate and install steel connections, ensuring proper fit and secure fastening.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Operate and maintain equipment, such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Conduct quality inspections of installed steel components to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Structural Steel Installer in the construction industry.
- SMAW Welding ticket required.
- Strong knowledge of steel installation techniques, including welding, bolting, and rigging.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in steel installation.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications or training in steel installation (e.g., OSHA 10, AWS certification) is a plus.

Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
