**Opening Maintenance Technician (OMT)**

**Salary: $20.00/hr**

**Seasonal, April 29th - July 1st work term (Opportunity for extension to August 30)**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Opening and cleaning of outdoor commercial swimming pools
- Painting of commercial swimming pools
- Operation of gas pressure washers, submersible pumps, and electric grinders
- Swimming Pool surface preparation
- Deliveries
- Chlorine container filling
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES**
- Previous pool experience and equipment knowledge an asset
- Customer service experience
- Valid G2 or G Drivers License required with clean abstract
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instruction/procedures
- Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Punctuality & Reliability
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes in schedule
- Work independently, efficiently, and effectively
- Receive and execute instruction
- Effective oral and written communication skills with co-workers and customers
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job and weather conditions
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal work performance in the face if setbacks

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Required to work long hours and/or 6 days a week
- Work in all weather conditions
- Light to heavy lifting
- Steel toe footwear is mandatory
- Tools will be supplied

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

- Day shift
