**Barber Collins Security is looking for a Part Time Security guard to work Every Friday and Saturday night at a client location in the south of Guelph.**

**We will only consider applicants who meet the following criteria.**
- **-Have a personal vehicle to get to work as bus access is limited.**:

- **-Able to commit to Minimum 1 year at this account**

**Every Friday Midnight to 8am and Saturday 8pm to 8am**

**Responsibilities**:

- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Interact regularly with the public with importance on good customer service and public relations.
- Conduct regular patrols in the building for security purposes and to varify client employees are safe working alone
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of double vaccination.
- valid security license
- Excellent communication skills. communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
