We are currently looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced security professional to take on a leadership role.
**Job Description**:
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of security personnel, ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. You will manage daily security operations, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Your leadership and ability to handle high-pressure situations will be key to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct security personnel to ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Monitor and report on site security activities and incidents
- Provide coaching and training to security staff
- Conduct regular site patrols and security checks
- Respond to emergencies and provide first-line support during incidents
- Prepare reports, maintain logs, and handle administrative duties related to security operations
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, client requirements, and legal regulations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing security-related concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- At least 1 year of security experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure and emergency situations calmly and professionally
- First Aid & CPR certification is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $23.82/hour
