Permanent opportunities: - Supervisor - 0700h - 1500h, Monday to Friday - Full time - 1500h - 2300h Monday to Friday - Full time - 2300h - 0700h Sunday to Thursday - Part time - 0700h - 1500h - Saturday and Sunday - Part time - 1500h - 2300h - Saturday and Sunday - Part time - 2300h - 0700h - Friday and Saturday - Parking is **NOT** provided - All applicants, please ensure you are able to reliably commute to Pearson Airport Job Requirements: - Ontario Security Guard License - Standard First Aid CPR-C - Smart Serve - Experience at a hotel and enforcing site protocol Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years experience in security for Supervisor applicants - 1 year experience in security and customer service - Must be professional and presentable - Have excellent communication, customer service, and report writing skills **Duties**: - Unafraid to ensure all who enter the property have business there - Provide access control and screen individuals entering the site - Conduct hourly exterior and interior patrols - Enforce the "Trespass to Property Act" - Write and submit reports in a timely manner - Respond to calls from Manager on Duty and guests in a timely manner, with follow up occurring where necessary on the next shift - Work with site staff - Liaise with Peel Police and other emergency services - De-escalate potential situations - Communicate with their team - Be flexible with work assignments - Interact with site guests in a positive a professional manner - Some postings are mostly static with an occasional patrol - Guards are expected to be able to stand for up to 2 hours at a time between breaks and patrols **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 16-44 per week **Salary**: $18.50-$19.50 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: - English not required Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - Overtime - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Are you interested in full time or part time? - What days of the week and shifts are you able to work?
