**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Complete plumbing installs and repairs in adherence with the applicable national and provincial code, manuals, specifications schematics, or blueprints.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines, best practices, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Install, maintain, and repair all types of piping systems, fixtures, and other equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water or wastewater
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure.
- Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling equipment

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Plumber Certificate
- A valid Saskatchewan Journeyman Plumber license
- A valid Saskatchewan Gas Fitter’s license
- 3-5 years’ experience in residential plumbing
- Knowledge of the National and Provincial plumbing code.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge on the building codes and best construction practices in maintenance, repair and modernization.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Commitment to confidentiality and a respect for diversity and individual differences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, problem solve, and work efficiently under tight timelines
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
- Reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes
- Ability to provide a clean enhanced criminal record check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $34.26-$37.43 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
