Part Time Full Cycle Bookkeeper

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and generate financial reports.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage for efficient record keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Oversee work flow and assist fellow team members.
- Support management in tasks.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QBD, QBO and Sage) is required.
- Proficiency to learn new technology.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports accurately.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and management.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Minimum 5 years experience required. Rate of pay is negotiable for the right person.
No remote work available. All work is to be conducted in office.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abbotsford, BC V2T 4J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
