The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking an experienced and passionate individual for the Head Equipment Manager Position for PWHL Vancouver. The Head Equipment Manager reports to General Manager and is primarily responsible for the procurement, distribution, inventory, and maintenance of PWHL Vancouver athletic equipment and apparel for athletes, coaches, and staff.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversees daily equipment preparations and set up for practices and games
- Purchases, distributes, stores, and maintains accountability of all athletic equipment
- Launders uniforms, practice gear, towels, and other materials used daily
- Oversees locker room breakdown for home/visiting teams
- Manages all equipment-related items for team practices and games
- Manages Assistant Equipment Manager and Game Day equipment helpers
- Oversees packing of equipment for team travel, as well as packing, unpacking and movement of equipment while in transit with the team (i.e. trucks, buses, aircrafts)
- Ensures that all uniforms and related equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties, including skate sharpening, skate riveting, sewing, equipment repair
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of relevant ice hockey equipment experience
- Collegiate/International/Professional ice hockey equipment experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

**Skills**
- Expertise in hockey equipment management, including skate sharpening, sewing, and other technical facets of the role
- Ability to lead others and work in a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities
- Strong work ethic, urgency, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to deal with various constituents in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to travel internationally as well as work evenings and weekends
