**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care during transport.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules, changes, or any issues that may arise.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Must always adhere to safe work practices and procedures as well as all other applicable health and safety laws and regulations.
- Time management skills are essential to ensure that scheduled pick-ups and deliveries are completed on time.

**Inside/outside relationships**
- Frequent contact with Foreman, Purchasing Manager, and other warehouse employees.
- Consistent contact with vendors, suppliers, customers, and employees when completing pickups and deliveries.

**Position conditions**
- Driving for a large part of the day mostly in GTA and surrounding area
- Heavy lifting and manual material handling required
- Some evening and weekend work may be required

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required. Must have valid G Licence in Ontario and able to provide a clean driving abstract.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis. Must have their own Safety Shoes, company will provide all required PPE.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification is an advantage but can be obtained after hiring if necessary.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 43 per week
