Job description

Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services Inc. is a provider of inline and tethered MFL inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators, currently servicing the North American market. With Onstream’s commitment to technological advancement, excellence, continued growth and development, we are now seeking an **Electronics Assembler** for our Calgary, Alberta office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Soldering of surface mount components (SMD)
- Soldering and assembling cables
- Testing/troubleshooting electronics components
- Using proprietary software
- Utilizing heat and chemicals for potting sensors (parts recovery)
- Other duties as necessary and assigned by the Manager, Electronics

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma (Diploma in Electronics, asset)
- 1 - 3 year electronics experience
- Able to understand basic electronics symbols
- Able and willing to do repetitive tasks
- Comfortable using high powered hand tools
- Basic computer knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced soldering abilities
- Attention to detail and fine motor skills
- Able to distinguish between colors
- Capable of lifting 30 lbs
- Experience handling chemical and adhesive materials
