Blackline Safety is currently hiring skilled Electronics Assemblers to perform a variety of assembly tasks including soldering, test, assembly and packaging. This role reports to our facility in Calgary, Alberta and is not remote. Responsibilities:1. Component Assembly:Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Use precision hand tools, soldering irons, and other equipment to perform intricate assembly tasks.2. Soldering and Wiring:Perform soldering tasks to connect and secure electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).Follow wiring diagrams and instructions to connect and route wires and cables within electronic assemblies.3. Quality Control:Conduct visual inspections of components and finished assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards.Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies during the assembly process.4. Testing and Troubleshooting:Conduct functional tests on completed electronic assemblies.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing.5. Adherence to Safety Standards:Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors.9. Collaboration:Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production goals and timelines.Skills/Qualifications/Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in electronics assembly is a plus.Proven experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and component integration.Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.Attention to detail and precision in manual assembly tasks.Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools.Basic understanding of electronic components and their functions.Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment.Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.Safety Shoe Requirement:This position requires the use of CSA Grade 1 toe protection safety footwear.
