We are looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong background in digital marketing, public relations, and short-form content creation that will engage and excite the Canada Weather Gear audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media plan by creating and implementing creative projects that help our business reach audience targets and build deeper relationships. You will also be responsible for inbound and outbound communications with industry professionals, influencers, and media. This will involve creating, developing, and maintaining relationships with professional contacts.

**Additional Skills**:

- Social media platforms: Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube
- Design & editing tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
- Organization & collaboration tools: Hootsuite, Later, Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.
- A desire and willingness to be on camera

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media plan
- Producing entertaining and engaging social media content
- Monitoring user engagement and suggesting content optimization
- Communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media
- Recruiting, vetting, and onboarding all social media influencers including outbound and inbound prospects via social media
- Participating in or organizing events, photoshoots, promotional activities, presentations, or ceremonies on behalf of Canada Weather Gear as assigned
- Providing a detailed report of social media performance analytics
- Performing other duties as assigned

**Hours**:

- Full time in-office or on-site for content creation
- Weekend communications/availability will occasionally be required

**Location**:

- In-person; must travel to Orfus Rd, near Yorkdale Mall in North York, Ontario.
