Litter Crew

**Newport Landscaping, established in 2006, is a design/build firm with a landscape maintenance division, based out of Vineland, ON. Our organization's continued success and accelerated growth is due in large part to the investments we've made in our employees, in our equipment, and the long-term relationships we've developed with our clients.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on a crew of litter control workers
- Assist members with daily tasks accordingly
- Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to high quality standards
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety protocols as needed
- Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Collaborate with management to understand the needs of the clients and provide excellent customer service
- Attend to various sites, empty garbage receptacles, collect all litter and debris accordingly
- Use of company vehicle
- Other misc. tasks

**Skills**:

- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively if need be
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team if need be
- Ability to build positive relationships with junior staff
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel as needed, excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to lift 30lbs +

**Schedule**:
Shifts (1-3 shifts per week) could lead to more shifts.

Hours vary, start time is flexible. Between 12AM-2AM, and end time is between 6AM-8AM weather dependent.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
