**Job Summary**

Targray currently has an opening for a Risk Manager at its headquarters in Montreal, Quebec Canada (Kirkland). We are looking for a Risk Manager to help support the growth of our commodity trading organization and the Risk team. The Risk Manager plays a key role in assessing various types of risks and opportunities as we continue to add new businesses to our portfolio and assists the Director, Risk Management with implementing risk management at the enterprise level.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop the required structure to help business units implement risk management at the enterprise level.
- Facilitate the integration of new trading desks.
- Recommend trading and counterparty limits for every division and at a company level and align exposures with the company’s risk tolerance.
- Measure, monitor and mitigate strategic, business, market, credit, and operational risks.
- Make recommendations to the Director, Risk Management on actions to take to manage exposures internally and which type of risks to transfer to external stakeholders.
- Support Risk Analysts in developing end-to-end Risk models on Microsoft Excel and Python to monitor and manage market, credit, and operational risks.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Administration graduate (with a Finance concentration) or MBA with a finance concentration.
- Master’s degree in financial engineering or Mathematics and Statistics is a plus.
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation delivered by GARP or enrolled for FRM Part 2 exam

**Qualifications**
- 5 to 10 years of working experience measuring and managing financial risks.
- Experience measuring and managing exposures to various commodities.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the potential to manage a team of risk professionals.
- Thorough understanding of financial derivatives, mark-to-market accounting, Value-at-Risk and stress tests.
- Have strong financial and data analysis skills.
- Proficient at advanced Microsoft Excel (VBA).
- Proficient at Python or SAS.
- Proficient at Power BI or Tableau
- Show great ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be open-minded, coachable, resourceful and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrate great communication skills and display strong interpersonal skills.
