We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hardscape/Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing outdoor spaces with a focus on hardscaping elements, ensuring they are visually appealing and skillfully installed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform various landscaping tasks including hardscape installations such as building garden beds, pathways, retaining walls, and other landscape features using materials like stone, and brick.
- Communicate effectively with your manager and receive direction.
- Conduct mulching, and planting activities to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor areas.
- Operate power tools and hand tools proficiently and safely to complete assigned tasks.
- Lead and collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols while working on-site to prevent accidents and injuries.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in landscaping, with a focus on hardscaping, is a must.
- Leadership experience highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, bending, and digging for extended periods.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools effectively and safely.
- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements, particularly those that complement hardscaping designs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
Note: This is a paid position with competitive wages. The exact rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
