Centennial College - Progress Campus - Team Lead - Full Time

Supervising and managing Security personnel to ensure pass on books, binders, key sign sheets, etc. are all properly documented and followed
- Following direction and requests from the Client and Coordinators in regards to training for Security personnel
- Working closely with all employees, Coordinators, Client to ensure all training needs are being conducted
- Produce records and reports on completed training material by individual employee
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing college’s rules and regulations when required
- Offer support to any person in need such as providing good customer service when providing a security presence, such as providing direction on college campus, responding to emergency situation involving violent individuals and injuries
- Be an accurate and dependable resource having knowledge about services on campus
- Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of Centennial College and Centennial Campus Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach
- Be attentive to the needs of the student, faculty and staff incidents as well as be able to build relationships with the college community
- Be able to keep an open and objective mind, remembering the college’s diverse community
- Be able to facilitate an environment that allows students to meet their academic goals
- Encourage students to make connections with College resources and the community by building a safe and supportive environment.
- Help develop an atmosphere in which students have concern and respect for the right of others
- Assist student, staff and faculty during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed
- Frequently inspect the campus for damage and report to management
- Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly

**Qualifications**:

- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid/ CPR Level C
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- COVID Double Vaccination
