As our IT Manager, your primary mission is to ensure the effective operation of information technology and internal services our employees need to be effective in their respective day-to-day duties. You will participate in identifying, selecting and deploying the appropriate technology resources in support of corporate goals and objectives. You will also assist with delivering our information security program to protect Bonfire and our customers from harm. **What You’ll Do**: - Manage the efficient operation of the IT department: Define and mature processes, allocate people and technology resources to ensure effective and reliable operation to meet the needs of end users. - Maintain the internal IT Service Desk: Fulfillment of day-to-day requests to support the company and provide help for any IT related needs (hardware, software, troubleshooting, password resets, etc.). - Maintain our inventory and fleet of devices: Maintain an accurate inventory and asset lifecycle management. - Security and Compliance: Responsible for implementing and enhancing security and compliance across Bonfire including security awareness, identity & access management, endpoint security, monitoring, vendor security reviews, metrics, policy reviews, secure standards adoption, and compliance-related activities. - Vendor management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to procure efficient and cost-effective technology relevant to the IT infrastructure; manage the contracting and licensing of third party software and hardware agreements; oversee warranties and service agreements. - Implement IT initiatives: Manage IT project implementations (hardware, software and cloud-based solutions) based on organization needs. - Support the Business: Administer and support tools and systems used by teams across Bonfire. - Eradicate shadow IT: You will take a balanced approach to work with department leads to seek outShadow IT so we can track and understand the tools and services being used meet our organizational requirements for control, documentation, security, reliability. - IT Automation: Expand and manage the use of IT automation tools for onboarding, offboarding, mobile device management, updates & patching, identity and user management, troubleshooting, etc. - Metrics & Statistics: Develop and maintain ongoing IT operational metrics and trending. - Manage IT Audit activities: Ensure accurate and timely data capture to support audit activities. Identification of gaps and recommendations to close them. - Incident Response: Actively participate in the detection, investigation and resolution of incidents as they arise. - Documentation: Update process and procedure documents for routine activities and when integrating new systems or services. **Who You Are**: **Skills**: - Strong desire to learn, adapt and challenge the status quo - Unparalleled customer service and willingness to help users with even the most rudimentary issue - Able to clearly articulate IT issues, troubleshooting steps and remediation activities - Investigate issue root cause and research corrective actions/solutions - Curious mind and willing challenging the status quo - Willing to jump in, take on new requests and lend a hand - No job is too big or too small, you have a "happy to help" and easy-going attitude towards supporting both technical and non-technical employees - Excellent multi-tasking and ability to work against a large work queue - Experience with the following is an asset: - Apple MacOS administration - Device Management Software - Google Workspaces Administration (Google Docs, Gmail, etc.) - Password Managers - Jira or similar task and queue administration - Computer hardware and software - Information security concepts and technologies - ITIL **Education & Experience**: College, University or equivalent educational background in Computer Science or IT **Core Competencies**: Verbal & Written Communication, Problem Solving, Flexibility, Desire to Learn, Desire to Take on Challenges, Project Management, Prioritization, Adaptability, Multitasking Why Bonfire?
