Are you looking for an exciting fast paced opportunity working with an innovative company? As a Grounds Supervisor you will be responsible for guiding Edon’s grounds teams in the routine maintenance and design of grounds and building exterior for assigned buildings.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Provide overall guidance for Edon’s landscaping department by guiding and supporting team members, ensuring that the proper training and development is provided at all levels
- Perform regular inspections of the building grounds to ensure curb-side appearance is in accordance with contract and Edon’s standards
- Oversee and assist with landscaping tasks including grass maintenance, planting and trimming, fertilizers and pesticides, laying of mulch, etc.
- Oversee and assist with mechanical work on landscaping equipment and the operation of a variety of standard power tools and equipment
- Assist with tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of grounds that address building and client issues
- Portray a favourable image of the organization as a front-line contact with clients/tenants

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role
- Experience supervising and overseeing a grounds/landscaping team or division
- Strong knowledge of grounds/landscaping practices
- Strong knowledge of grounds equipment including types of equipment, operational costs, and facilitating repairs
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Strong customer care, communication and client management skills
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff to accomplish objectives
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
