**Put your expertise in the spotlight**

As a Artistic Casting Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Resident and Touring shows, new creations and special events for all their Casting needs in artistic disciplines. Reporting to The Casting Manager of Show Supports, you will recommend the best artists in the fields of Music and Singing, and will also support the presentations of Dancers and Actors/Clowns/Characters. You will contribute to the success of Cirque du Soleil shows by developing and maintaining a network of people and organizations in the field of Casting and Artistic Performing arts. Your main objective will be to handle all requests for artistic casting calls.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide recommendations and present artists to Artistic and Creation teams;
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation on artist profiles;
- When needed, carry out artist recruiting activities (auditions and scouting), according to the established methodologies;
- Write reports following casting activities;
- Develop, maintain and manage professional collaboration with various artistic and educational organizations, Talent Agencies, freelance casting partners and consultants;
- Perform all other related tasks.

**You possess the following professional and technical skills**:

- College or University degree in Music and/or Singing is an asset;
- 3 years or more of international experience and profound knowledge in the fields of casting, performance and/or show creation with specialization in Music and Singing with strong expertise in various styles, techniques and instruments;
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages, an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to evaluate Musicians and Singers with precision in various styles, techniques and instruments and being able to describe their skills in details;
- Experience and knowledge of Dance and Acting is a strong asset;
- A solid network of national and international contacts in related field(s);
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities;
- Diplomacy and discretion in all communications;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Flexibility and high level of adaptability;
- Availability to travel.
