**Senior Claims Examiner (Bilingual) - Professional Liability**

- In this role you will work with adjusters, technical experts and legal counsel to develop and coordinate defence strategies in order to bring professional liability insurance claims for architectural, engineering and technology design consultants to a prompt and final resolution.

**We will count on you to**:

- Review and assess new, moderate to highly complex claims Determine and communicate coverage to brokers and insureds.
- Appoint and direct service partner to defend insured and quantify liability and damages exposures for moderate to highly complex claim files.
- Determine liability and value of claim, conduct reserve analyze and set reserves, establish resolution plan for moderate to highly complex claim files. Report to insurers on large claims and present files at semi-annual insurers meetings.
- Develop and present presentations for external client meetings as well as conduct risk management seminars.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues and provide direction and authority within authority levels.
- Lead high visibility meetings such as annual client meetings with moderately complex clients and manages relationships with clients
- Some travel may be required.

**What you need to have**:

- Fluent (both written and oral) in both official languages is mandatory
- A university or college degree and CIP, CRM, or RPLU designation
- Education background in insurance, claims adjusting/examining, finance/business, legal, project management, engineering/architecture, construction, environmental technology

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
