**Job summary**:
Whale-Mart is a general store located in Kuujjuarapik with approximately 30 employees.
In collaboration with various departments, the grocery retail trainer is in charge of developing the team in place to ensure the operational, commercial and human management of the store.
He (she) will have to ensure employee development in terms of determining and updating selling prices, loss management, benchmark, sales and promotions, stock management, recruitment, integration and employee development, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Sales**_
- Train employees on determining store sales prices based on cost structure, benchmark and sales.
- Train employees on discount sales strategies.
- Train employees on determining profit margins.
- **Customer service**_
- Train employees on customer service (greeting customers, helping customers find items, etc.).
- Train employees on the brand image of the store.
- **Marketing**_
- Train employees on the marketing strategies to be implemented.
- Train employees on promotional strategies.
- **Merchandising**_
- Train employees on merchandising strategies.
- Train employees on the basic rules of merchandising.
- Train employees on the use of the store management system.
- **Stock management**_
- Train each section manager on the orders to be carried out in their respective sections.
- Train section managers on stock rotation in their section.
- Train the section managers on how to display stocks in the store.
- **Human resources**_
- Develop the leadership of section managers.
- Train section managers on staff mobilization techniques.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Good coaching and teaching skills.
- French language skills (asset).
- Knowledge of the grocery market.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse work teams.
- Have good communication and HR skills.
- Have good organizational skills.
**Schedule and workplace**:
- 12 days of work - 10 hrs/day at Whapmagoostui (Kuujjuarapik), including a weekend.
- 16 days in your area including 3 workdays per week (7 hours) at the administrative office in Laval.
- A total of 40.5 hours/week.

Whale-Mart est un magasin général situé à Whapmagoostui (Kuujjuarapik) qui compte environ 30 employés.
En collaboration avec diverses parties prenantes, le formateur de commerce de détail (épicerie) est en charge du développement de l’équipe en place pour assurer la gestion opérationnelle, commerciale et humaine du magasin.
Il (elle) devra veiller au développement des employés en matière de détermination et mise à jour des prix de vente, gestion des pertes, « benchmark », promotions et ventes, gestion des inventaires, recrutement, intégration et développement des employés et etc.
**Responsabilités**:
- **Ventes**_
- Former les employés sur la détermination des prix de ventes du magasin en s’appuyant sur la structure de coût, le « benchmark » et les ventes;
- Former les employés sur les stratégies de ventes à rabais;
- Former les employés sur la détermination des marges de profit.
- **Service client**_
- Former les employés sur le service client (accueillir les clients, aider les clients à trouver les articles, etc.);
- Former les employés sur l’image de marque du magasin.
- **Marketing**_
- Former les employés sur les stratégies de marketing à mettre en place;
- Former les employés sur les stratégies de promotion.
- **Marchandisage**_
- Former les employés sur les stratégies de marchandisage;
- Former les employés sur les règles de base du marchandisage;
- Former les employés sur l’utilisation du système de gestion du magasin.
- **Gestion des stocks**_
- Former chaque chef de section sur les commandes à effectuer dans leurs sections respectives;
- Former les chefs de section sur la rotation du stock dans sa section;
- Former les chefs de section sur l’affichage des stocks dans le magasin.
- **Ressources humaines**_
- Développer le leadership des chefs de section;
- Former les chefs de section sur les techniques de mobilisation de personnel.
**Exigences**:
- Minimum de 5 à 10 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire;
- Connaissance de l’anglais est obligatoire;
- Bonnes capacités d’encadrement et d’enseignement;
- Connaissances en français (atout);
- Connaissances du marché de l’épicerie;
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et organisationnelles;
- Capacité à travailler avec des équipes diversifies;
- Bonnes compétences en communication et ressources humaines.
**Horaire et lieu de travail**:
- 12 jours de travail de 10 heures à Whapmagoostui (Kuujjuarapik), dont un weekend;
- 16 jours dans votre région pendant lesquelles vous travaillez 3 jours/semaine (7 heures) au bureau administratif de Laval;
