**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and review various engagements - compilations, CRA reviews, personal taxes, trusts and estates, and review engagements
- Be available and approachable to train CPA students in our Vancouver office
- Working closely with the Partners from each of our four offices on special tasks and other engagements as required
- Collaborate with other managers in each of our offices to schedule work and ensure consistencies in quality control
- Be client-facing and work with closely with our clients to help the firm provide exceptional client service
- Provide formal training to staff in our Vancouver office (and remotely to staff in our other offices) through presentations over Microsoft Teams or in-person
- Collaborate with the Partner prior to commencement of client work to discuss the plan to complete, roles and scheduling of staff, and deadlines for the client
- Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
- Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
- Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
- Network and take a leadership role in the local professional, business, and community while raising awareness of Vohora LLP and looking for new business development opportunities
- Leverage team appropriately to ensure proper documentation is prepared for the client and procedures relating to the file are followed accordingly
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Liaise and correspond professionally with clients, colleagues and the firm leadership team
- Develop, coach, and train team members towards professional and personal development
- Be available and willing to work in the office full-time, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion
- Conduct formal, written annual performance reviews

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in public accounting
- Extensive knowledge and experience working on general tax compliance and tax planning (compilation financial statements and corporate tax returns, general tax planning, personal tax returns, CRA compliance and reviews, etc.)
- Experience preparing and/or managing review engagements or audits under Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Accounting Standards for Not-For Profit Organizations (ASNPO) would be considered an asset
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the client’s business
- Experience managing staff, assigning work and meeting with clients
- Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Taxprep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities
- Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
- Professional accounting firm experience is a must

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
