**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-mid level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable pathway to develop your skills in a professional dealership environment. **Duties**
- Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles using various tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
- Support in factory recalls and mechanical repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and handling of heavy parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Learn to interpret technical schematics and vehicle repair manuals
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and recommendations effectively

**Skills**
- Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics for vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic welding skills or familiarity with welding processes are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment

This apprenticeship position provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring automotive technicians to gain practical experience while working alongside seasoned professionals in a supportive setting.

Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour
