**Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the Foreman, review blueprints, drawings and specifications to ensure that pipe routes and depths are accurate.
- Ensure pipes and components are properly connected and sealed, working in confined spaces including trenches and manholes.
- Ensure back fill and compaction around pipe to ensure proper positioning and support.
- Work effectively as a team with other team members on our jobsites.
- Ensure the proper use of all equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with site-specific and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of Pipelayer in civil / infrastructure construction, preferably in the areas of sewer and water.
- Knowledge and experience working with HDPE and concrete pipe
- Fusing experience with Trackstar 618 and Pitbull 14 an asset
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as attention to detail.
- CSTS, Ground Disturbance & WHIMIS certifications
- Class 5 Drivers License with a 3-year clean abstract
