Our client is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Attendant to support and manage the upkeep of their facilities. The successful applicant will ensure that workplace facilities and spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and in a presentable order for guests. We are seeking someone with experience working within a similar role and adhering to workplace safety standards, and hospitality towards guests.

**Some Responsibilities Include**:

- Preparing the spaces prior to guest utilization to provide the best service to them
- Ensuring that facilities and entertainment spaces are kept clean and sanitized, and in safe working order, using the necessary cleaning tools provided
- Actively monitoring the grounds after use by guests and disposing of any used items left behind in the various spaces
- Constant interaction with utilities such as soap dispensers, dish washers, towels, rugs, various furniture and chairs, windows and doors, and other items constantly used in the areas
- Use of mops, vacuums, cloths, to ensure that grounds, closet spaces, and baths are kept in a clean and presentable manner
- Report damages, missing or broken items at the end of each cleaning if necessary
- Keep compliant with Company policies, Occupational health safety and Tourism NS guidelines and requirements
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- **Must be able to reliably commute to the location with own transportation/vehicle**:

- Highly detail-oriented with at least 1 year experience in customer service and hospitality in a similar setting
- Organized and able to work independently and efficiently
- Must be able to follow direction and work with relevant parties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, and handle outside exposure such as noise, dust etc.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be honest and professional in this work setting

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
