They are responsible to meet and exceed sales objectives targeted for current and potential customers by promoting Home Hardware products and services, effective management, and visits to the customer/ contractor sites, along with store responsibilities. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. *WHAT ARE YOUR DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS?* - Proven history in building relationships and acquiring outside contracts. - Must possess knowledge and/or experience with standard lumber and building materials. - Knowledge and/or experience with quotes, updating customer relation management tools, prospecting, closing deals, handling customer rejection/acceptance, etc. - Excellent time management and organizational skills to deal with large customer base. - Energetic and self-motivated and determined to meet challenges with a positive attitude. - Ability to work independently and remain focused on individual and team goals. - Excellent listening and communication skills.
- The OSR is responsible for quoting all key product categories (Lumber, Trusses, EWP, Windows, Trim & Doors, Drywall & Insulation, Siding, and roofing) for their accounts, and completing administrative tasks ** Must have experience with lumber and building materials ** - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. - Must have valid Driver’s License
