**Field Development Supervisor**

The Field Development Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring high levels of consistency and quality across field staff operations. This position works closely with the State and Regional Manager to maintain operations and may be required to assist in other offices when necessary. The Field Development Manager ensures that site work is performed to high standards, while also ensuring that company policies, procedures, and safety programs are adhered to at all times. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and may be called upon to assist with any task deemed necessary by the Director, particularly in the field operations area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Site Work Quality: Oversee the completion of JOT Forms to ensure they are filled out correctly and on time.
- Employee Coaching & Training: Provide coaching and training to field employees on interacting with foremen and customers, promoting strong working relationships.
- Time Management Assistance: Offer guidance on improving time management skills in the field.
- Office and Field Communication: Foster a cohesive working environment by ensuring effective communication between the office and the field.
- Field Personnel Support: Maintain strong relationships with field staff, providing coaching on site checks, setups and takedowns, flagger positioning, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Productivity Enhancement: Coach employees on how to maximize productivity during site visits and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
- Performance Documentation: While not authorized to discipline office staff, provide advice on recommended actions when necessary. Can perform written coaching for Field Managers (FM), Crew Leaders, and Traffic Controllers, forwarding these documents to the Operations Manager for review.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

**Required Knowledge, Abilities & Skills**:

- Traffic Control Knowledge: In-depth understanding of traffic control guidelines and procedures.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Coaching & Development: Strong coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and improve employee performance.
- Leadership by Example: Ability to lead with clarity and set clear expectations.
- Relationship Building: Skilled in developing and maintaining strong relationships with both office and field staff.
- Certification Maintenance: Ensure all required certifications are current and up to date.
- Training Leadership: Capable of leading training sessions when requested.

**Education, Experience & Requirements**:

- Experience: Demonstrated success in raising the quality of field employees, with a background in employee development and field operations.
- Field Experience: Prior experience in the field and with managing field teams.
- Licensing: Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain all required field certifications.
- Workplace Standards: Maintain a drug-free workplace.
- Travel: Ability to travel as needed to meet operational needs.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Education: A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
