BASIC FUNCTION:
Support technical activities in the Cryogenics group in an emerging level role

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The position reports to the Cryogenics supervisor and works within a team environment in the Accelerator Systems Department.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides troubleshooting/support for the online Cryogenic systems primarily in Helium Recovery Facility (HRF) but can also support activities in other TRIUMF cryogenic systems
- Provides support, including hardware/system design for lab focussed R&D within the TRIUMF Cryogenics group

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

- Individual contributor role with no requirement for line leadership of others
- May provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other employees within the job area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Technical certification in mechanical technology and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience post-graduation
- Requires broad knowledge in the area of expertise, including approaches and technical concepts

Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Salary: $59,925 CAD plus our comprehensive employer-paid benefits plan
