ABOUT THE ROLE

Jotform is expanding to Vancouver and is now seeking a **Security Analyst **in our brand new Vancouver office. We are looking for someone who is experienced in security investigations and incident response. You’ll be part of a global team operating across multiple time zones supporting our customer facing SaaS product.

**Here’s what you will be doing**:

- Work as part of our global Security team on a variety of operational duties and process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze security logs from our production platforms to develop better threat detection
- Analyze incidents and events captured in the case management data for trends, patterns, or actionable information. Facilitate review meetings as necessary.
- Review incidents and events captured in the case management data after closure for investigative sufficiency and timeliness.

**Education & Work Experience & Technical Requirements**:

- BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Security/Technology or in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, InfoSec, Security Engineering, Network Engineering with emphasis in incident response, threat hunting, and cyber security operations.
- Hands-on technical skills in Linux and SQL as well as at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with log aggregation and SIEM technologies. Experience with the Elastic stack is a plus.
- At least one standard industry certification such as GSEC,CISA/CISM/ CISSP/CSCS/CEH or equivalent certifications or willingness to obtain within 8 months
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment, as well as influence peers and stakeholders to prioritize issues as needed highly proficiency creating and presenting management reports
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent problems solving skills
