**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of accounting responsibilities, encompassing accounts payable and receivable, monthly reporting, general ledger entries, month-end and year-end closing procedures, government remittances and more
**Skills required**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop
- Proactive, self-reliant and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Prior experience in the real estate/mortgage industry is considered an asset
