**About the role**:
This role is an entry-level position perfect for students and new creators looking to gain experience in digital marketing while flipping the bird to soulless mega-retailers.

You'll join our marketing team to film and be featured in pre-approved, short-form video content for social media platforms. Each assignment comes with pre-written scripts and captions. If there are any specific filming guidelines, they will be clearly communicated to you ahead of time. We welcome creativity and will support you every step of the way

**Availability**

This is a flexible role with the freedom to choose your own hours and the number of deliverables you can produce each week. You also have the freedom to choose projects based on your skill and comfort level, with assignments ranging from short, simple videos to more complex projects with multi-cuts and effects.

**Compensation**

Compensation is structured to pay a minimum of $20/hr based on average output speed. Bonuses are paid if we use your content ideas. There will be additional opportunities to sign-up for studio filming days and filming on-site with local vendors in the TWC.

Pricing is transparent, disclosed upfront, and corresponds to the level of skill required for the assignment. Simple one-shot videos are paid at a lower rate than more complicated videos, such as multi-cuts and special effects.

**You’re perfect for the job, if**:

- You love being creative, making digital content, and you’re confident in front of the camera.
- You're not above recreating the hottest TikTok dances.
- You’re on point with the latest social media trends and love coming up with fresh ideas of your own.
- You can make cover photos, edit videos, and add captions in Canva.
- You're a strong communicator with a flare for storytelling. A dank sense of humour is considered an asset.
- You have excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. AKA you’re good at deadlines.
- You’re ready for change and believe in the power of supporting small businesses. You’re seriously over that trickle-down economics bull.

**What we need**:
We're a dynamic team with lots of moving pieces and need people who are able to collaborate well with others. We’re looking for someone who can think outside the box, act fast, and has a keen eye for detail. Bonus points if you can speak fluent Gen Z, and believe human beings deserve work-life balance & a living wage for a life of dignity.

**What we don’t need**:
Perfection is the enemy of good. Professional footage is not necessary, we expect you to film from your phone But we do require that your videos are filmed either outside in natural light or with additional lighting to ensure good quality.
- Send us a vertical video in TikTok/Reels format.
- You'll be the star of the content you produce - we want to see you in the video
- The video should include a cut or two, and on-screen captions.
- Your submission can be a video you've already made, or you can create something new just for us. No pressure though, it’s totally up to you. We just wanna see what you can do.

**Salary**: $20.00-$34.00 per hour
