TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES **Shipping & Receiving** - Operate computer systems to process orders and prepare shipping labels - Pack all orders according to the company’s quality standards - Update and maintain accurate daily shipping records - Receive incoming shipments and distribute to relevant departments - Lift and move products and rolls of fabric (up to 50lb) - Arrange pickups with shipping carriers **Warehouse Maintenance** - Keep the workspace clean, neat, and safe at all times. - Maintain an efficient storage system following the orderliness of the warehouse. - Follow safe work procedures and standards - Perform basic maintenance tasks (interior and exterior of the building) **Customer Service** - Respond to all customer service questions and requests - Process returns with the supervision of the logistic coordinator Any other tasks or responsibilities required to help the department achieve its objectives QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE **Mandatory** - Basic computer proficiency - Able to stand for long periods of time - Ability to distinguish colors - Ability to lift 50 lbs - Bilingualism, written and spoken English and French - Must be able to work both independently and with a team **Preferred** - Previous experience in a Warehouse Environment - Previous shipping experience - Customer service experience **Qualities** - Diligent - Reliable - Punctual - Attention to detail - Autonomous - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) WORKING CONDITIONS and ADVANTAGES - Work week ending at 2pm on Fridays - Additional paid holiday (Easter Monday) - Voluntary retirement savings plan (VRSP) in place, with employer contribution after 1 year - 50% discount on products for all personal purchases for employees - Competitive salary with annual review - Monthly meetings with team building activity - Parking available at our Aylmer location **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: $16.50-$21.53 per hour Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Store discount - VRSP Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Gatineau, QC J9J 3K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Language**: - french and english (required) Work Location: In person
