**About the Role: This is a Full-time, Afternoon Shift permanent position.**
**About the Wiring Technician**:
As a Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for performing point-to-point electrical wiring and assembly of elevator fixture panels by following related electrical CAD schematics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure that the elevator fixture panel function smoothly as per the design of the panel layout.
2. Interpret CAD schematic diagram and understand the circuit’s functionality and troubleshooting the issues.
3. Conduct wiring of connections, terminate as needed for variety of connectors, control systems, electronic circuit boards, Actuators, Sensors and other electrical devices.
4. Inspect fixture panel according to the schematics and instruction, checking the quality of the process.
5. Perform complicated and varied tasks and prioritize work orders to meet production schedule.
6. Check floor stock by monitoring wiring inventory.
7. Inspect assemblies visually with applicable measuring devices and identify non-conformances as applicable.
8. Follow quality control processes and complete inspection documentation as required.
9. Maintain a clean work area at all times.
10. Complete shop records accurately and on time.
11. Able to manage medium to heavy materials, tact and judgement.
12. Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
13. Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
14. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
**Attributes, Skills and Qualifications**:
- College Diploma in Electrical or equivalent professional experience
- Mechanical / electromechanical assembly experience an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Able to understand the role of each Electrical and Electronics components in the overall schema of Control Panel

**This is an afternoon shift position: Monday to Thursdays 4:00pm to 1:00am, Fridays 3:00pm - 11:00pm**
