**About the Research Professional Position**:
As a research professional, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within a very collaborative environment. Research professionals can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities and work experiences may include but are not limited to the following:

- Analyzing healthcare data using algorithms and statistical programming in SAS, R, Stata, Python, VBA, and other programs
- Developing data analyses using statistical methods and analytical tools including econometric estimation of models, survival analysis, and machine learning
- Analyzing health care data from a variety of sources including administrative claims data, clinical trial data, registries, and medical chart data
- Conducting a range of health economics analyses such as treatment pattern and outcomes, comparative effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact
- Creating dynamic visualizations to rapidly explore data and models
- Examining market and industry behavior through targeted research
- Reviewing and summarizing reports and client documents
- Participating in meetings with medical experts, clients, and case team members
- Assisting in the preparation of study reports, manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journal, abstracts and posters for presentation to scientific conferences, and other client deliverables
- Passion for using data and analytics to solve the business challenges our clients face
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Experience or a strong interest in statistical programming and data analysis
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- An excellent academic record
