We are looking for a Summer Student for the **Mechanical Assembler - Afternoon Shift **, who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

**As a Mechanical Assembler, you will**
- Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics
- Read and interpret assembly drawings
- Follow set instructions, job orders, and record information
- Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists
- Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles
- Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards

**Who are we looking for? Someone who**
- Is currently enrolled in a post secondary institution (diploma or degree program)
- Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required
- Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with mínimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
