We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals who possess excellent teamwork skills to join our team. Residential Support workers assist individuals to live successfully in residential group home settings while implementing the philosophy and values of Communitas.

**Current Openings**:
1 Permanent Full Time Position

**Here's what you can expect**:
Employees are expected to be available for all shifts according to program needs. These shifts may include day, evening, overnight, weekend shifts and stat holiday shifts.

The Residential Support Worker position requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Some lifting/transferring of individuals served and assistance with personal care required.

**Here's what we need from you**:

- The ability to take initiative with creativity
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to maintain honest, direct and respectful relationship
- Community Support Worker certificate (we do provide in house training if you do not have this training
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Possession of a valid Class 5 BC drivers license with the ability to obtain a Class 4 BC drivers license (restricted)
- Possession of a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Doctors Note of Good Health
- TB Test
- Personal Driving Record
- Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.76-$23.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 BC Drivers License (preferred)
